Our story

From a lab bench and a therapy room to one table.

Vidya started at a lab bench, studying new ways to fight drug-resistant bacteria. Priya started in a pediatric therapy room, working with children and their families. Over the next two decades, Vidya moved into pharma program and regulatory leadership, and Priya into medical device regulatory affairs.

We have each been the individual contributor, the manager and the leader. In both industries we kept seeing the same thing: the most useful conversations about regulation, clinical trials and how work really gets done rarely include every level at once.

The Open Circle pulls up those chairs.

On YouTube, we sit down with executives, managers and early- to mid-career professionals in MedTech and Pharma to talk about what is happening in the field, and how it looks from each seat.

Which seat are you in?

Most industry podcasts interview one senior leader. We hear the same topic from three levels, so every seat gets something.

  • Early- to mid-career professionals

Honest insight into how decisions are made above you, plus career lessons from people who have made the climb.

  • Managers and function leads

Ways to translate strategy for your team, and a clear read on what your team needs from you.

  • Executives

A direct view of how your decisions land across the organization, from the people they land on.

  • Students and career changers

An inside look at regulatory, clinical and product careers, and the paths people took to get there.
